Celebrating Talent: Jim from Beast Games S2

We caught up with Jim (Player 173), a MrBeast fan turned viral competitor on Beast Games, to talk about his journey to standing side-by-side with his idols in the biggest production on Earth.

Help us celebrate Jim and read what his BG experience was like:

On what the show taught him: “The games changed the way I think about the world. I played as fair as possible, even when I was at a disadvantage. I proved to myself that money isn’t something I’ll let change who I am.”

On what it was like on set: “I’ve been a fan since 2016, so it was insane meeting the guys I grew up watching. While most people went in thinking ‘I’m here to win money,’ I was just so hyped to finally be in a Beast video and represent the OG fans. It was a dream come true to be surrounded by the people I aspire to be like.”

On working with MysticArt Pictures: “I was sitting in class not paying attention, when I saw Jimmy’s story. I applied right then and heard back in 30 minutes. I was literally jumping around in the library! The team at MysticArt was excellent. They kept me in the loop and made me feel so confident!”

Advice for future Beast Games contestants:
- “You have to know who you are before you go in. Be your most authentic self and don’t worry about how you’ll be portrayed on camera.”
- “People will do things you don’t like, but it doesn’t always reflect who they are as a person. You can only control how you choose to play.”

Jim is launching a YouTube channel with Monika Ronk, so if you want to keep in touch and know when they launch it, you can follow him on Instagram and TikTok for lives!
