MysticArt Pictures worked this year with two of TIME’s Top 100 Creators, MrBeast and Alex Cooper. We led the world-wide search for Amazon’s #1 unscripted series, Beast Games Season 1 (and Season 2), and broke the Guinness World Record for “most participants in a single competitive reality show season.” For Alex Cooper, we discovered new fresh faces for Hulu’s headline-making dating show Love Overboard, in collaboration with her company UNWELL.
We also continued our work with established networks, finding iconic families for Season 1 and Season 2 of FOX’s hit survival show Extracted, in collaboration with B17 and Sylvester Stallone’s company, Balboa Entertainment.
MysticArt continues its mission to work on inspiring and transformational content, including casting A-list celebrities for HGTV’s critically acclaimed series Celebrity IOU with The Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott. In collaboration with Hello Sunshine, we booked iconic celebrities to be guest judges on Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer’s show, Family Recipe Showdown.
Other notable projects include 9 seasons of ABC’s Wipeout, casting the design team and families for the Netflix Emmy-winning series Instant Dream Home, and receiving an Emmy nomination for Best Casting for Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. We’ve incorporated our rich history in scripted television, which played a pivotal role in developing many of the casting systems and creative processes in unscripted television that the entertainment industry relies on today.
